Unfortunately it won't process that command until there's a lull in the the current script running. Hitting "ESC" just sends another JSL command which adds it to the queue. Probably the biggest problem is there isn't a shortcut (that I know of) to comment/uncomment code and Ctrl+/ doesn't work like most other editors.Īs far as stop running JMP script, it's more in the way JMP processes the code than in the editor. If you can't remember the full name of a function typing a few words and pressing Ctrl+Space will bring up a list of possible functions you are looking for. Hovering over functions or commands will display a tool tip telling you the parameters of the function and what it does. It has a built in Reformat Script to make everyone's code look the same and follow a standard set of rules (although I wish I had more control of what rules to follow). You can do a split view to make editing easier. There are a lot of helpful tools in the JSL editor. While not perfect, it for sure is better than Notepad++, now if we were talking Sublime Text that's another story.
